‘Horn’ to vie at Navarra filmfest

Iranian short film ‘Horn’ is slated to be screened at the Navarra International Film Festival (NIFF) in Spain.

Directed by Qasideh Golmakani, the short will represent Iran at the 2020 edition of the event.

The international distributor of ‘Horn’ has announced that is to air on French TV channel Canal+.

The short has also been sold to Alaska Airlines to be screened on various flights.

Iranian actors Shiva Ebrahimi and Alireza Sanifar star in the film.

Other details of the film are yet to be released.

The NIFF is a space for criticism, denunciation, impact and social growth through the dissemination and promotion of cinema.

It aims to be a statement against non-involvement, disregard and lack of commitment, which is the real disease of this century, where we produce more than we can consume, and happiness is subject to the law of supply and demand.

The 2020 edition of the NIFF will be held on September 3-5.
